It’s all change this year and to enter the Miss Alderney 2011 contest couldn’t be easier!

Then return the  completed form, together with one head and shoulder photograph as well as one full size photo by e-mail to info@alderneyweek.net or post to

Entry Rules:

 

The following entry rules apply to all contestants:

·         You should  be between 17 and 25 years of age,  but you must be at least 17 years old on the first day of Alderney Week - 30 July 2011.

 

·         You are an Alderney resident and you are not married.  You will be on the island throughout Alderney Week from 30 July to 6 August and you will be available and proud to represent your island at the Jersey Battle of Flowers 11 and 12 August.

 

***Miss Alderney 2011 Election and Celebration Party ***

Saturday night 23 April :  Island Hall  9:30pm  till midnight

 

·         All candidates are required to attend the Miss Alderney 2011 Celebration Disco Party  

 

·         Please make your way to the Anne French Room between 9.00pm and  no later than 9.30pm  to meet the Alderney Week Team for a brief chat before joining the party in the Island Hall.

 

·         Dress to impress - wear your best party frock   (no jeans, please!).

 

·         The winner of the Miss Alderney 2011 contest will be announced and crowned around 10:30pm.

 

·         More details about the fabulous prizes, the programme of events for the Miss Alderney 2011 Celebration Party  and the duties of Miss Alderney will be published on the Miss Alderney 2011 page of this website and on our Facebook page. They  will also be e-mailed or posted to all candidates who have submitted an entry form.  

 

·         As to the duties of Miss Alderney , she will be asked to attend a number of major Alderney Week events to present prizes. These will be agreed between her and the Alderney Week Team.

 

·         The following week, Miss Alderney will represent her island at the Jersey Battle of Flowers and the fantastic Moonlight Parade (11 & 12 August).  

 

·         Miss Alderney may also be invited to make appearances at other major events throughout her year of reign, if she is on the island and is happy to do so.
